Frugal Friday - Leftovers

Being organized helps me to be frugal.

Leftovers - they used to get tossed into the fridge and usually forgotten about and then thrown out once discovered (and growing something).

Lately, I have been freezing all my leftovers right away and then when I am looking for something for lunch, I remember them, take something out of the freezer and reheat.

I enjoyed a nice curry yesterday instead of just a cold sandwich. I am not wasting food any more and I have lunches when needed.

Braces phase 1

J got spacers a part of his upper braces (with red elastics) put on today. Next week they will put the wires on.

And then we will start the routine of brushing at least 5 times a day, and having braces tightened/adjusted every 6 wks.

In about 6 months time, he has to have 4 teeth removed, and then the lower braces added.


And although he is smiling for the camera, he is VERY unhappy about the braces - oh well only 3 more yrs to go!
