I've Become a Card Maker!

So I have many talented arty friends in my online community. Many of them create exceptional cards. I decided to try my hand at making cards again.

This is what I've come up with so far. They are all currently blank inside.

The background for this one is created with Dylusion sprays
I'm thinking to add something more to this one - too plain.

This is a Valentine's day card for hubs :)

Blog Name Change

So I am thinking I should change my blog name. I keep getting emails to join Mommy Blogging groups - my baby is almost 16. I am SO not a Mommy blogger. I am not currently working either so...

I think I would like to change it to reflect something to do with art - I am assuming the blog address will remain the same though (or maybe it won't?), I want any fans I may have to continue to be able to find me.

So what shall I call it? Any suggestions? My Facebook page is called Kim's Creations, so I don't want to reuse that, at least I don't think I do.

I love Faeries, maybe I could incorporate the word faerie somehow? Faerie Garden? Crafting in The Faerie Garden?

Someone (Darcy UK) in my arty group online just suggested Kimspiration! What do you think?

Please leave me a comment if you have any suggestions - I think I am going to try out Kimspiration for now but I still want your opinions :)

Book Review - Picture Perfect by Janice Thompson

Publisher's blurb: She’s trying to focus on her future. How can one man make everything feel so . . . fuzzy?

Hannah McDermott has a successful photography studio. She’ll soon be featured in Texas Bride magazine. And she has a celebrity client whose Galveston ceremony will be her ticket to the top spot on wedding coordinator Bella Neeley’s list of recommended photographers. But it could all come crashing down around her because of one man: archrival and photographer extraordinaire Drew Kincaid.

As the competition between Hannah and Drew heats up, Hannah is surprised to find that it’s not the only thing getting more intense. She can’t get the handsome man out of her thoughts-or even out of her line of sight-and the job of her dreams is turning into a nightmare. Will everything she’s worked for slip out of her hands? And can she see past her pride to find a picture-perfect love?

With contagious humor and a cast of quirky characters, Janice Thompson gives you crazy bridal-business drama, sweet romance, and a satisfying dose of laughter.

My Review: I didn't recognize the author when I requested this book, but I have read one of her books before - and I didn't much care for it. You will like this book if you like ditsy  apologetic doormats. I don't understand why some people think nice girls have to be doormats. I cannot believe a 20 something woman would allow others to walk all over them. You may like this book if you are a 16 yr old girl - that is who it is written for, in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend this book to others. I found it unrealistic & overly simplistic.
